Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a partnership between you and your therapist to help you not only manage mental health symptoms, but to discover what underlies these symptoms and heal what is causing them.  Some common symptoms are anxiety, depression, anger outbursts, substance abuse, panic attacks, relationship turmoil, sleep issues, hopelessness, nightmares, overeating, phobias, isolation, feeling out of control.  These symptoms, just to name a few, are the way our bodies try to communicate to us that something is wrong.  It is through the therapeutic relationship that you will explore your symptoms and not only learn how to reduce them in the present, but to heal what is causing them, so the symptom itself subsides.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy helps to gain insight into the patterns that are making a couple unhappy and pulling them apart from one another.  Oftentimes what made a person fall in love with their partner is the very thing that is driving them crazy now.  Couples therapy helps to improve communication so that arguments do not continue to take over the majority of the interactions at home.
